For the first 20 years of Ray’s CPA career, he worked in Washington, D.C., New York, San Diego, Paris and Portland with either PriceWaterhouse Coopers (PWC) or KPMG Peat Marwick.  He spent most of his time on income tax matters and most enjoyed working with small companies with one or two decision makers. He resigned as a tax partner from KPMG Peat Marwick in 1989 and started Ray Jordan, PC in 1991. Outside of the office, Ray belongs to a number of clubs such as the Multnomah Athletic Club, Portland Golf Club and the Arlington Club.

Ray won the Irish Lottery while completing his services as an officer in the US Navy when he met Leslie, who was working on her PhD in Mathematics at San Diego State.  They moved to Portland in 1980, and in 1986 Leslie started her own apparel business, Leslie Jordan, Inc.  She is now well known throughout the United States for her fine work in delivering custom apparel to sporting events.  If you take a moment and visit her website, http://www.lesliejordan.com, we think you will find it as exciting as Ray still finds Leslie. 

Ray & Leslie enjoy travelling and while Ray was working for PWC they lived in the 15th Arrondisement in Paris, a city that is now a second home. In recent years they have visited Avignon, Arles, Paris, Bellagio, Cinque Terrace, Rome, Florence, Venice, Sicily, Tahiti, Moscow, St Petersburg, Sydney, Puerto Vallarta, and Scottsdale.
